The design of the clutch bag series draws inspiration from the Qin-Han lacquerware in the museum’s collection. To date, Hubei boasts the nation’s largest and finest collection of lacquerware from that era. These pieces, diverse in shape and resplendent in color, are unique blooms in the garden of Chu culture and treasures of China’s ancient art legacy.
