The wallet series’ design is based on lacquerware from the Qin and Han dynasties (221 BC–220 AD) in the Hubei Provincial Museum’s collection. To date, Hubei has unearthed the richest array of the Qin-Han lacquerware in the country, outshining all other regions. These lacquer pieces come in myriad shapes and brilliant colors – a unique blossom in the garden of Chu culture, and true treasures of China’s ancient artistic heritage.
