摘要：2013年4月，为了摸清鄂州市矿冶遗址的情况及其与大冶铜绿山的关系，湖北省文物考古研究所等单位进行了一次专题调查，新发现和复查冶炼遗址共17处，并对采集的部分炼渣的属性进行了检测和分析，初步获得了对这批冶炼遗址分布、规模、性质、文化内涵、遗迹形态、年代、冶炼水平等方面的认识，这不仅为编制鄂州市矿冶遗址保护规划提供了依据，也为制定考古发掘计划和研究本地区矿冶文明历史进程提供了新资料。

An Investigation Report on the Smelting Sites in Ezhou City, Hubei

Abstract: The Hubei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology carried out a special investigation in April 2013, to further understand the relationship between the smelting sites found in Ezhou and the Tonglushan Site of Daye. This report examined the metallurgical slag collected from these seventeen newly discovered and re-investigated smelting sites, to study their distribution, scale, character, cultural connotation, shape, timeframe and technology. The investigation not only laid a solid foundation for drafting the method of conserving smelting sites in Ezhou, but also provided the latest material for planning the archeological excavation and discussing the evolutional history of smelting civilization in the Hubei area.
