On April 29, Hubei Provincial Museum opened China's first film-level digital cultural relic VR experience project: Journey Through the Bronze Age.

On May 13, Hubei Provincial Museum hosted the ninth Hubei Cultural Heritage System “Telling Jing-Chu Stories Well” Guide Recommendation Activity.

On May 16 (5·18 International Museum Day), Hubei Provincial Museum signed strategic cooperation agreements with a number of universities, research institutes and enterprises, including the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, School of Archaeology of Jilin University, Gemological Institute of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, Hubei Vocational College of Art and Hubei Culture & Tourism Investment Group Co., Ltd.

On May 16, Hubei Provincial Museum launched the largest authentic Western oil painting exhibition in Hubei Province in the past five years: “Palette in Motion: From Corot to Impressionism.”

On June 11, Hubei Provincial Museum launched the Three-Year Research Plan for the Chime-bells from the Tomb of Marquis Yi of Zeng in Suizhou (2025–2028).

On June 11, the 2025 “Cultural and Natural Heritage Day” and the Exhibition for the Inclusion of the Chime-bells from the Tomb of Marquis Yi of Zeng in Suizhou on the UNESCO Memory of the World International Register opened at Hubei Provincial Museum.

On June 13, “Craftsmanship Inherited, Cultural Heritage Shining”: The 2025 Hubei Provincial Museum Ceremony for the Donation of Arts and Crafts and Intangible Cultural Heritage Works was grandly held at the Hubei Provincial Museum, with over 100 pieces officially added to the museum's collection.

On August 1, Hubei Provincial Museum launched the original song Sleeping on Brushwood and Tasting Gall for online release.

On August 1, the Achievement Exhibition of “Minimal Intervention Conservation and Restoration of Ceramic Cultural Relics” opened at Yunmeng Museum.

On August 18, Hubei Provincial Museum signed a cooperation agreement on research projects with the Art Museum of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

On August 29, the AI Map Navigation Mini Program of Hubei Provincial Museum was officially launched.

From September 11 to 13, Hubei Provincial Museum signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the National Music Museum of Russia.

On September 17, the project “3D Digital Restoration of the Zun Pan (ritual vessel) inscribed with ‘Zeng Hou Yi’” of Hubei Provincial Museum was included in the Cultural Heritage Digitalization Case Collection on World Internet Conference (2025).

From September 17 to 20, Hubei Provincial Museum’s social education delegation traveled to Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang, where they jointly held a docent training session with the Hubei Provincial Aid to Xinjiang Work Front Command.

On September 17, Hubei Provincial Museum held its first “Super Cultural Tourism Day” themed night tour activity.

On September 25, the 4th Academic Seminar on the Conservation of Excavated Wooden Lacquerware was held in Wuhan.

On September 26, the special exhibition “Radiance in Culture – Chinese Lacquer Art” opened.

On September 28, The immersive live-action holographic stage play Encountering the Sword of Goujian was staged at Hubei Provincial Museum.

The murals exhibition “The Music of Nature” was unveiled on the first basement floor of the South Hall of Hubei Provincial Museum.

The “Hubei Museum Canteen” officially opened.

On September 30, Hubei Cultural Relics and Museology (Volume II) was published.

On October 23, Shuihudi Qin Slips (Popular Edition), part of the Series of Bamboo and Wooden Slips in the Collection of Hubei Provincial Museum, was published. Basic Exhibition of Yunmeng County Museum (Volumes I & II), co-compiled by Hubei Provincial Museum and other institutions, was also published.

On October 28, the exhibition “Reading China Through Slips – Exhibition of Excavated Chinese Bamboo and Wooden Slips”, hosted by Hubei Provincial Museum and jointly participated by 11 cultural institutions and museums, opened.

From November 7 to 16, Hubei Provincial Museum and the Three Gorges Project Museum jointly held the National Training Course on the Appraisal of Shang and Zhou Bronze Artifacts.

On November 7, the Cultural Relics Restoration and Exhibition Center of Yunmeng Workstation on Excavated Lacquerware protection, a Key Scientific Research Base for the protection of unearthed wooden lacquerware under the National Cultural Heritage Administration, jointly established by Hubei Provincial Museum and Yunmeng County Museum, was officially put into use and opened to the public.

On November 8, The “Bamboo and Wooden Slips Culture Exhibition and Dissemination Seminar,” marking the 50th anniversary of the excavation of Shuihudi Qin Slips in Yunmeng, was held.
