Description: Carved from Hetian white jade with black inclusions from Xinjiang, the work makes ingenious use of the stone’s natural coloration through qiaodiao (clever carving). It depicts the legendary Four Auspicious Creatures—the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise—gathered together, presenting an auspicious vision of harmony and good fortune.
