Description: The spirit of the dragon and horse embodies the enduring ethos of the Chinese nation—unceasing striving, self-renewal, and an unwavering pursuit of progress. It is regarded as a symbol of the Yellow River’s vitality and an embodiment of the descendants of Yan and Huang, representing the core spirit and highest moral ideals of Chinese civilization. In this work, the artist seeks to convey profound philosophical ideas. Preserving the natural form of the original jade, and employing contemporary decorative techniques, the piece reinterprets the legendary dragon-horse with a vigorous, unrestrained presence and an uplifted, dynamic posture—culminating in a majestic image of the dragon and horse poised in a powerful, upward cry.
