Celadon brown pot in the shape of pig-head

Unearthed in 2001 from Zhoujianao Tomb M26, Ezhou

Height: 26.3 cm, mouth diameter: 12 cm, bottom diameter: 12.5 cm

The shoulder of the vessel is adorned with two horizontal bands, with a pig’s head applied to one side and a flattened tail on the opposite, symmetrical side. The vessel has a flat base. It has a grayish-white body with a celadon glaze, adorned with several brown speckles on the surface.
