Qiu Ying (1498-1552), his courtesy name is“Shifu”and his art name “Shizhou”. He was born in Taichang, Jiangshu. Studied under Zhou Chen and he enjoyed painting landscapes and figures and was particularly good at imitating ancient paintings. His exquisite style with bright colors and rich decorations has ranked him one of the Four Great masters in Ming dynasty.
